另解. 最小值處，其一階導數必為 0 因此有 x=3  都是重根

故可令 f(x)=a(x−3)2(x+3)2=a(x2−3)2 

由 f(0)=18 得 a=2

f(x)=24(x2−1)，故得 (1f(1)) 及 (−1f(−1)) 為其兩反曲點

而 f(1)=2(1−3)2=8
